Community Hall Grants

Each year, when setting the budget and planning for the following financial year, the Council can make an allocation of funds towards Community Halls.

The Council has the power to do this under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act [1976] S.19 (3) a.

The funds have been split between the Binfield Memorial Hall, Farley Wood Community Association and the 1st Binfield Air Scouts Hut but other Halls could also request funding from this allocation.

From the financial year 2017/18, Halls (or their respective Boards of Trustees or Community Association members) should apply in writing with a set of accounts and a description of what the funding is to be used for.
